Single Barrel Riddim Video Medley (Official Video)

Precision Productions is pouring sensuous liquid fire onto their pulsating beats to create a smooth infectious sound, laced with all the ingredients needed for an unforgettably good time in their latest release, the Single Barrel Riddim.

Timed to perfection, this Riddim takes you past your frigid inhibitions, along the road of no return, and far beyond petty worries to a place where the atmosphere is a heady mix of heat, freedom, and gyrating bodies.

And with it, the team offers up a spectacle of music so licentious that only the perfect blend of risqué vocal ringleaders would do.

Teasing listeners to wander down this wanton path is the rich voice of Kees Dieffenthaller, balanced by Gabrielle’s siren call, combined with Blaxx’s singing potency, alongside Nebula868′s hardcore swing and Destra’s salacious charm.

All of these Single Barrel songs are a wicked concoction of vitality, seduction, and exhilaration brewed together, to form a flawless cocktail of Carnival 2013 fever that is just waiting to be spread, on Soca’s fertile worldwide music beds.

Beenie Man – Super Model (Music Video)

Released in Summer 2012, Dre Skull’s Kling Klang riddim has since been gathering momentum across the world, with support from David Rodigan, ZJ Elektra, Robba Ranx, Major Lazer, Benji B & Toddla T.

Named after Kraftwerk’s legendary German studio, the riddim takes some inspiration from their repertoire: Dre Skull’s beat revs up to the sound of an engine, then breaks into a minimal soundscape powered by cymbals, resonating bass and lasers that waver on computer game aesthetics before accelerating into the chorus. Sitting alongside cuts from Popcaan, Tifa, Suku and Deva Bratt, Beenie Man delivers his second voicing for Mixpak with “Super Model”, offering a 90s style delivery with throwback content to match.

In early 2013, Mixpak releases three accompanying videos for the riddim.  Popcaan’s bike stuntin’ “So We Do It” and Tifa’s heavyweight “Champion Bubbler” dropped last month, leaving dancehall royal Beenie Man til last. Filmed on Hellshire Beach,”Super Model” sees Beenie pay homage to the coca cola bottle shape while he and his entourage rock the boat Jamaican style. Directed by Andy Capper (director of Snoop Lion’s Reincarnated documentary).

Machel Montano Ft. Freetown Collective “Represent” (The Remix)

Machel & Freetown

Innovative and groundbreaking describes the upcoming release of the collaborative effort between Machel Montano and Freetown Collective. The song “Represent” (the remix) combines all the necessary elements of Soca with a conscious message. With such a special song, it was inevitable that the creative quality should match equally with the choice of visuals. – Enter, Blue Cinamon Pictures. Blue Cinamon is a duo team from Los Angeles California, currently on-location in Trinidad putting the finishing touches on the upcoming film, ʻGod Loves The Fighterʼ. The film was made entirely in Trinidad and Tobago, starring an all-local cast. Blue Cinamon has solid roots in the film/music video industry as an innovative, one-stop-shop company, which combines marketing, art direction, and their wealth of experience in the US music industry. Referring to the visuals for “Represent” (the remix) as “just another music video” will be an understatement. Instead, viewers will be treated to a short film incorporating a storyline and featuring unique aspects of the Trinidadian culture associated with the joy of Carnival. The short film highlights two children Dirk and Chicken, characters inspired from the upcoming film “God Loves The Fighter”. In the story, Dirk and Chicken embark on a mini-adventure through Port of Spain, the mission – to hand out flyers for the neighborhood boss-man, Izaman. They must hand out all the flyers or else they will not get paid. This project is the first of its kind for Trinidad and Tobago. The project will be released to all television networks and exclusively on B-mobile on January 14, 2013 with an online initiative to follow on January 15, 2013. Kerwin DuBois – Wettin (Official Music Video)

Take a look at Kerwin DuBois music video for one of his many hits for Carnival 2013, Wettin filmed in St.Maarten.

Machel Montano – Don’t Judge Me

“The track is called Don’t Judge Me and is a melodic journey of message through music produced by the Red Boys! When Carnival or Crop Over comes…it’s our time…when we lose our inhibitions and let go…so when you see me gettin on bad in a fete…lost in the music or trying to wine on all the women in the party…or caught up in the moment with my friends with a drink in hand and behaving in a manner I normally wouldn’t..Don’t Judge Me!

The message also transcends beyond the party into a social realm…regardless of how different a person may seem…style of dress, type of music, social status, race, sexual preference…the list goes on…DON’T JUDGE! SPREAD LOVE!!!” – Rupert Clarke

Produced By Nutation Records (Trinidad)
Mastered By PLATTA Recording Studio (Barbados)

2012 is definitely progressing in favor of Erphaan Alves and his musical odyssey. The momentum built from Trinidad & Tobago’s Carnival Season is succesfully being maintained. The EA Soca Brand was well received at performances in various Caribbean islands; Barbados, Antigua, Grenada and Dominica within the past months. Erphaan also managed to add to his accolades; Best New Male Soca Artiste 2012 (tied with HypaSounds) at Soca Awards 10 , and his composition “As We Rise” was chosen in the Top 6 Best Songs at the National Song Competition 2012. Drupatee & Machel Montano – Indian Gyal

As the dawn breaks on the last day in our lifetimes we will ever see such alignment as the 12/12/12, Machel Montano and Drupatee Ramgoonai, exactly 12 years after giving us the culturally epic “Real Unity”, have collaborated once again to give us a melding of ethnic melodies in “Indian Gyal”. With the chorus ringing out an enchanting “Wuk Up D Larki”, where Larki means girl, the track is produced by Millbeatz Entertainment, and written by the Ghostwriters; it flows with woven harmonies that create a hypnotic blend designed to bring all who listen, together on the dance floor. In local lore the number 12 represents the king, while 12 by 2, is 24, which represents the queen, and almost preordained on this special day we have the reigning King of Soca working with the incomparable Queen of Chutney showing the world that the best of Trinidad and Tobago is always delightfully revealed when we come together showcasing our mystical charm in love and music. – Mystie Thongs

Beres Hammond – In My Arms (One Love, One Life) (Music Video)

Download One Love, One Life (digital): http://bit.ly/T3lVQS
Purchase One Love, One Life (CD): http://bit.ly/UfC2KG

Whether Rihanna is quoting his lyrics on Twitter or Drake is retweeting that “Beres Hammond has to sing at my wedding,” Jamaica’s most prolific crooner has influenced some of the biggest stars today. Known to many as the “Otis Redding of Reggae,” Beres Hammond has been producing and pouring out his smoky-sweet voice over every kind of riddim track for over three decades.

From his early days as the lead singer of the ’70s funk-reggae infused band Zap Pow,Beres has consistently produced number one hits and iconic reggae anthems still played today. While newcomers are searching for a breakthrough hit and old timers are plotting their comeback, Beres is a study in longevity. He released his first studio album, Soul Reggae in 1976 spawning the number one hit “One Step Ahead” and in 1985 the dancehall breakthrough “What One Dance Can Do” off his self entitled album. He has collaborated with reggae’s elite—Marcia Griffiths andBuju Banton are virtually staples on any Beres tour—and has worked with legendary producers like Willie Lindo, Steely and Clevie, and Philip “Fattis” Burrell. In 1990, his album A Love Affair from Donovan Germaine’s Penthouse label raised his popularity to new heights. Cuts like “Tempted To Touch” and “Who Say” with Buju Banton are still huge in the dancehall today. During the ’90s, Beres blazed a trail of modern classics for a variety of producers, from the strugglers’ anthem “Putting Up Resistance” (Tappa) to lovers’ laments like “Come Back Home” (Star Trail). In 2001, Beres brought us major hits like “They Gonna Talk” and “Rock Away” from his Grammy-nominated album Music Is Life. VP Records then released The Ultimate Collection: Can’t Stop A Man in 2003 to commemorate Hammond’s career, and in 2004 Love Has No Boundaries, which features his familiar romantic ballads and mid-tempo dancehall grooves. His last studio album A Moment In Time was released in 2008 and features his most recent smash hit “I Feel Good.” Beres Hammond’s track record of hits is unprecedented in reggae.

He has garnered an international fan base from his ceaseless touring schedule around the globe. He performs non-stop and has repeatedly sold out some of the country’s largest and most prestigious venues including the Theatre at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. He is also a star favorite among Alicia Keys, Carl Thomas and Wyclef Jean.
